The swimming pool was nice and the sea was still only 1 minute away. The climbing rocks are all within easy reach by moped. Beautiful. Very helpful staff. All in all SUPER!
They weren't mosquito nets. But we helped ourselves with a natural mosquito repellent.

Great clean hotel with beautiful pool directly at the sea. Friendly hosts and amiable inhabitants of the island, who always and everywhere met us with a smile. Especially Babi's Bar is recommended.

Nice outdoor area with pool and sunbeds. Gooв balcony and a little kitchenette.
The rooms are getting very old. Very small bath. Shower curtain is much too long so that the water is always in the tub.

The studio was cleaned every day. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Nice employees.
Mattresses were very uncomfortable - some feathers came out. Furniture was pretty worn out.

The value for our money was excellent and the room was clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect, right next to the sea and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
The hotel breakfast menu could have had more variety.

When reflecting on Katina Studios, the staff shone in their helpfulness and local knowledge. English speaking was perfect, and they knew the area as a local would, with local tips. They were genuinely interested in assisting you, in a way I rarely experience. Well done, and highly recommended.

Of the seven hotels we've stayed at on the Greek islands Katina Studios comes close to offering the best value for money: We were extremely happy with the view from our balcony overlooking the Aegean sea and the island of Telendos. Unlike many hotels in Myrties and Massouri Katina Studios is located on a quiet sidestreet and thus sheltered somewhat from the noise of passing traffic on the main street. Furthermore, the rooms are located away from the pool area in parallel with the coast line, which means good views and a generally quiet environment. The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming, offered advice and helped solve minor problems. The hotel has an extensive outdoors sitting area with sections both close to and away from the pool, providing ample opportunity for a quiet day of relaxation on hotel premises. Free internet was also very useful in helping us plan day trips and the like. Breakfast was included in our room rate and we were offered the choice of English or continental breakfast and Greek yoghurt with local honey. We didn't use the hotel pool - opting instead for some of the better beaches in the vicinity. It seemed large and quiet enough that it would be possible for us to find an undisturbed moment during the day to take a dip, should we so desire. The hotel is located close to the Myrties jetty and several bus stops offering ample opportunity for day travel even for those unwilling or unable to rent scooters and other forms of motorised transportation.
An area that could benefit from an upgrade would be doors and windows: Like on many Greek islands mosquitoes can become an issue in the evening and the door in our room seemed a bit flimsy in that there were small crevices between the doorway and the door that allowed the little buggers to slip inside easily. We more or less solved the problem by acquiring some mosquito repellent at a local mini market but upgrading doors and windows would mitigate the issue and also help insulate the rooms from heat and road noise.
